Please note: Imagology problematizes ethnocentrism and national/ethnic prejudice; while some of the older materials referred to here may reflect the discourse of ethnocentric essentialism, this website is dedicated to its critical deconstruction. This also includes ethnic appellations which have since the time of their general currency become repugnant or problematic; their usage here cites them as part of the ethnotypical discourse from which they originate.
